The Hall of Fame is supported by Sport Stevenage, Stevenage Borough Council, MBDA and North Herts College. Banners highlighting the successes of the Hall of Fame members will shortly be on display across Stevenage.

Councillor Howard Burrell, Stevenage's Executive Member for Children and Young People, Culture, Sport and Leisure said, "These latest members of our Sporting Hall of Fame join our ever increasing list of sporting role models. They have all achieved excellence in their own fields and it is only right that we should recognise them in this way. I hope that our young people will take inspiration from their achievements and will strive to follow in their footsteps."

To see the banners in their full glory look at the Hall of Fame pdf file (10.7Mb).

The idea of the Hall of Fame is to recognise and celebrate Stevenage's successful sportsmen and women and to illustrate and record just how and why they have achieved such heights.

The banners are available for use by any club, school or other organisation who wishes to promote sport within Stevenage. To book use of them please contact Louise Gallagher on 01438 242248.
